Lapeer County Police, EMS, and Fire Posting was founded on July 17, 2013. It is a social media page that keeps the fine citizens of Lapeer County informed on what is going on. We are always looking for VOLUNTEERS to help us keep the page updated. You do not need to own your own scanner as we have an online feed that we use.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
We have created an account with Zello for live communication with you the viewers. You can download Zello on your Android or IPhone and create an account. We have created a channel for the page. To add our page as a channel you simply go to add a channel and type in LCPEFP. Once you send that request we will then approve it and you can inform us of any traffic hazards, updates to calls that we have posted, or road conditions. When you talk on Zello please do not use foul language. When you are giving a report please give the location, type of incident, and what you are seeing. We hope that this will make it easier for you the viewers to be in contact with us as this channel is monitored 24/7. Also on this channel you can ask about how to become a volunteer for LCPEFP. What this will do is turn your smartphone into a walkie talkie to communicate with us when we do not have someone monitoring the page. You can even download it to your computer by going to zello.com. If you would like to send us a contact request you can do so by typing in LCPEF POSTING. When you go to reach us please say "LCPEFP VIEWER TO LCPEFP ADMIN" and one of us admins will respond. This channel will stay open 24/7 it will most likely be closed on holiday's unless we have 1 of the admins available.
